Recently, China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. The project marks another key achievement of the company in deepening its overseas industrialization footprint and supporting industrial development of the host country.

Located in eastern Uganda, a core local agriculture and livestock hub with prominent geographical and transport advantages and strong market outreach, the project is a reconstruction and expansion of a fruit processing plant, covering full-cycle integrated construction including civil works, equipment supply, installation and commissioning.

Uganda is endowed with abundant and diverse fruit resources. Upon commissioning, the plant will achieve a scaled production capacity of 10,000 bottles of juice per hour — effectively addressing the local pain point of low added value in fruit products, significantly upgrading local fruit processing technologies and industrialization capacity, and driving the transformation of local agricultural and sideline products from primary raw material exports to high-value-added end products. It will inject strong momentum into agricultural efficiency improvement, employment generation and rural development in eastern Uganda.

For years, CAMCE has maintained a deep-rooted presence in the African market, securing successive engineering projects in Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and other African countries. Going forward, CAMCE will continue to focus on overseas industrialization development, especially pragmatic cooperation in key livelihood sectors, deliver more high-quality projects, and support Africa's economic growth and local livelihood improvement.
